Manfrotto Hosts a Pop-Up Photo Lab in London’s Covent Garden

Over the weekend, Manfrotto, the world leader in premium accessories for the photographic and imaging industry, launched a pop-up Interactive Photo Lab in Covent Garden in central London.

From 18-20 November, over 4,000 visitors put their artistic talent to the test by using Manfrotto photographic kit and being photographed on professional photography sets with creative inspiration from wigs, hats, sunglasses and other theatrical props.

The photographs taken over the course of the three-day installation were uploaded to the Manfrotto Imagine More Facebook page at www.facebook.com/manfrotto.imagine.more, where participants can tag themselves and share their experience with friends.

The London Photo Lab was the fourth in a global series of interactive photo labs, which are popping up in squares and piazzas around the world. It followed in the creative footsteps of labs in Beijing, Berlin and Hong Kong.

Professional photographers guided visitors through two creative photo sets and a kissing booth, giving them the tools to capture great photographs and the opportunity to feature in their own photo shoot. The specially created sets offered the chance to try Manfrotto kit in real-time, with guidance from the experts.

Passersby were offered the chance to experiment with slick photographic sets and top-of-the-line kit, broadcasting their creative experiences to their friends via social media. Manfrotto is committed to giving photography enthusiasts of all levels the tools they need to live out their creative vision, whether professionally, at a hobbyist level, or just to share with friends on Facebook.
