Sarah Outen

Sarah Outen is a world record breaking ocean rower, having become the first woman and youngest person to row solo across the Indian Ocean in 2009. Her first book ‘ A Dip in the Ocean’ was published recently and she is currently preparing to journey right around the world using only human power: rowing, cycling and kayaking. Manfrotto is providing the latest carrying and holding solutions to help her film and photograph her journey and share it with the world.

She leaves from Tower Bridge, London on April 1st and expects the 20,000 mile journey to take 2.5 years. Please come and support her and follow her adventure at:

Product Testimonial:
"Having spoken to lots of pros and adventuring amateurs while planning 'London2London:via the World', one name came out as a must have for my tripods and clamps – I’m stoked to have Manfrotto on board with my next expedition.
"

Camera equipment:

"It’s all about being fast and light  and robust - Canon 50D with a wide angle lens and lots of spare batteries. It forces you to be creative too."

Lighting Equipment:

"Away on expedition I need to travel fast and light, so I don’t carry anything extra for my photos and films – I just use my Petzl MYO RXP for film and the built in flash on my camera."
